We attended an event organized by Toronto police in Mississauga, where these police officers were referred to as “Angels” because of their selfless community service in Toronto. Constables Farzad Ghotbi and Mustafa Popalzai, who came to Canada as refugees, have collected truckloads of essential items for refugees and newcomers since August 2021. In December 2023, they organized a massive Christmas giveaway for new immigrants in Mississauga. It was mesmerizing!
