Job search program is a part of our ongoing Community Project in Etobicoke Centre (CPEC). The program is geared toward addressing the challenges of employment among new immigrants, and other vulnerable individuals in Etobicoke Centre and GTA. Our various programs (workshops, and seminars) focused on supporting these groups of individuals in searching for jobs by collaborating and working with employment centres in the area, job fairs, and employees. We assists new immigrants with the tools, community resources, and expertise to establish small-scale enterprises (sole proprietorship, incorporating organizations). We assess new immigrants and determine their credentials validation needs and work with Service Canada, Schools, the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials, and other relevant institutions to assist this group of new immigrants in validating their academic and professional credentials from their countries of origin.
