We have successfully hosted our annual event titled, the “Impact of Canadian Ethnic Pluralism and Multiculturalism in the Development of Canada”, including the second edition of Edo Language Day celebration. Hon. Jean Augustine historically narrated how ethnic minorities were recognized during her time as a Member of Parliament in Canada.
Canadian Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP), David Smith spoke about his root and journey as the only Black Member of Provincial Parliament in the Conservative Party in Canada. He awarded the Organizing Committee Members appreciation certificates for organizing this year’s program, which helps to amplify the cultural mosaic of Canada. The event was hosted on August 10th, 2024 at the University of Toronto followed by other sub-programs, which ended on August 13th, 2024.
