The Edo Language Day Organizing Committee Members visited the Mayor of Brampton, His Worship Patrick Brown, on May 13th, 2025. It was a part of our effort to expand the program’s outreach in Toronto this year. We recently reformed some of our programs to enable the participation of Benin descendants in different parts of the world, e.g, the Gal people of Ghana, Issele Uku in Delta State and many others. This year’s event will be hosted by the Nigerian Canadian Multicultural Centre in Canada in partnership with the University of Toronto. It will take place in six locations worldwide on August 9th (in-person) and virtually on August 13th, via Zoom. Everyone is invited!
